Located in a wonderful Art Déco setting, the Charleroi Museum of Fine Arts welcomes you to its permanent collections, offering you the opportunity of discovering an exceptionally rich and varied heritage.

The Museum of Fine Arts presents you with an ensemble of works covering the important artistic trends to arrive on the Belgian art scene in the 19th century and which evolved through to the 20th century: neo-classicism, realism, social realism, impressionism, expressionism, surrealism, abstraction.

The non-profit-making association, "Friends of the Museums of Charleroi" was set up in 1987 with the aim of promoting the museums of Charleroi. It takes an interest in all activities directly associated with the organisation.
